    From my experience suing insurance companies, State Farm is the worst insurance company out there. I'm uncertain whether you want to sue your own insurance company or the insurance company of another.

    The insurance company can always refuse to do something.

    In response you can sue them.

    The insurance carrier should pay you the non-disputed portions.

    If you aren't asking for more money from the former insurance company then there is no reason to allow the inspection. I would tell them no.
