Ms. Carlin was always professional and I could tell she really cared about my case. I was very happy with the outcome, the cost, the entire experience.

I'm currently using Amy for the second time. In my first case, she represented my children's circumstances amazingly well and she communicated very cleraly and thoroughly. She made an extremely emotional situation (regarding an emergency protective order for my children) much easier to handle. When I had the unexpected need for an attorney again, Amy responded to my initial contact within a few minutes (in the evening - well after normal working hours). While my current case isn't yet resolved, I'm still having the same experience as before. Amy is actively working to do her best to make sure that my interests and what is best for my child is represented to the court. Hopefully we can avoid trial but if we have to get that far, I have no doubt she'll continue to be the best advocate I could ask for.

Handled my divorce seamlessly. She cared about my children, my finances and made sure the process was as quick and inexpensive as possible. She still checks in on my kids to see how they are doing. I could not have been referred to a kinder attorney.

I had 3 lawyers before Ms Carlin and nobody worked as hard for me as she did. She believed in me and she fought hard for me. Ms Carlin cared about me and my baby and I will always be thankful for her.

My son and I hired Ms Carlin on a child support case. She recommended a "termination" as a course of action and advised us it would take about 3 months to go through the process. We specifically hired her to obtain the "termination". She never answered our telephone calls and only answered some of our emails. She told us things and then later denied saying them. She told my son he would not need to prepare for hearings before the judge and then when he appeared, the Judge asked him questions. She told him he would not need to appear on a court hearing and then the morning of the hearing, while he was in class, sent him a text advising him to let the judge know he was there and his attorney was in another court. The Office of Attorney General filed an intervention and she told us their filing was moot and to ignore it. We later found out the OAG intervention was not moot and needed to be addressed. After over 6 months of failing to get the judge to sign the termination order, I contacted 3 other attorneys for their opinion on obtaining a termination order. They all said, in their opinion and based on the facts of my son's case, they did not see any way that a termination order could be obtained or signed by a judge. Finally, after over 7 months and thousands of dollars paid in attorney fees, we terminated our relationship with Ms Carlin. We actually received nothing for our money other than frustration and heartache.

Ms. Carlin represented my son in a custody dispute. I can honestly say everything she did was with his best interest at heart. She brought calm and peace to him during a time that was confusing and potentially very traumatic. She clearly loves children and the law, and I feel blessed that she was gifted to my son.
