    You need an attorney to help you get primary custody. If you have a CPS caseworker, ask them for a safety plan that restricts mom's visits to supervised only until your attorney can get orders in place!

    I agree with Ms. Henley, but would add that you are not a juvenile if you are 18. You are an adult, and if any criminal charges were to be filed, they will be in adult court. Make better choices!

    If you attempt to take the child from Grandma's, CPS is likely to open a legal case. You need an attorney before you move your child.

    If you have not taken the advice to hire a lawyer, DO SO NOW! You have threats, an assault, and his own family telling you he is not safe. If you do not get a protective order your child's safety and your own re at risk.
    AND if you do not protect your child from him and something happens to him, you will be partially faulted for letting him go to dad's, which could be cause for CPS to remove your child!
