Michael Shawn Matlock

also known as M. Shawn, Matlock

About me

I am a criminal defense attorney located in downtown Fort Worth, Texas.  My practice is a boutique firm devoted solely to defending persons and businesses accused of criminal and regulatory offenses in both State and Federal courts.

Our firm deals with individuals charged with offenses ranging from DWI to Drug Possession/ Distribution to Murder in both adult courts and juvenile courts in Texas.  Additionally, we represent individuals and corporations charged in Federal courts not only in Texas, but also throughout the country.  In addition to typical Drug and Weapons charges in Federal court, we also defend those charged with Federal White Collar Crimes.

In addition to defending clients during the investigative and trial stages of the case, we also represent clients on appeal.  Whether it be a local Court of Appeals, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court or various Federal Courts of Appeals throughout the country, this firm has a unique ability to defend clients at all stages.

Although we are able to defend clients in various matters in numerous different courts, The Matlock Law Firm maintains a small caseload.  As a boutique firm, we are able to dedicate the proper amount of time and resources needed to obtain a successful result.
