Andrew D. Sims

Anderw Sims practices primarily in the areas of civil trial litigation and civil appellate litigation.  He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Trial Law and Civil Appellate Law. 

Mr. Sims has handled numerous complex trial and appellate litigation matters, including, among others, oil and gas litigation, corporate litigation and shareholder derivative and shareholder rights litigation, business tort and fiduciary litigation, real and personal property rights litigation, insurance coverage and property loss valuation litigation, securities litigation, first amendment litigation(church and state), intellectual property litigation, litigation involving the automotive industry, including the representation of automobile dealers in litigation against manufacturers, and administrative agency litigation before the Motor Vehicle Divison of the Texas Departement of Transportation. 

Mr. Sims's appellate practice mirrors the diversity of this trial practice. He has been involved in appellate matters before numerous Texas appellate courts, including the Texas Supreme Court.  He handles appeals arising out of civil trial litigation matters as described above and also handles interlocutory appeals and mandamus matters.
