Pat always returned all my calls and emails by the end of the day, she always kept me informed and demonstrated true knowledge of my case , the law and the Judge. I am going to refer her to my friends and family for sure.
Ms. Henderson helped through a very difficult time, she was always available and returned all my emails and phone calls by the end of a business day.
Understood and listen to my family needs and drafted out estate plan accordingly
I firmly believe Ms. Henderson was using unethical force by having my case dismissed so that I move my case for a trial instead of a non-contested divorce. I emailed Ms. Henderson regarding my feelings on how she had backed me in a corner. In her response she decide to remove herself from my case referencing "My" mistakes I made during "MY" marriage. Shortly after the exchange of letters she sent an invoice with add-in charges going back to to the start of my case that where not on my invoices she sent to me monthly.
As a result of this unfair or deceptive act or practice, I suffered loss of money (retainer fee), legal council, and my time. I have spoke with the Texas State Bar’s Client Attorney Assistance Program. I detailed my case to them over the phone. Texas State Bar’s Client Attorney Assistance Program relayed that back charging is unethical. By their suggestion I followed up with a letter to Ms. Henderson asking for my balance of credit not used. Ms. Henderson responded, "You do not owe me anything and I certainly do not owe you a refund".
If I do not receive a refund my next step will be to fill out the State Board of Texas’s Grievance forms and submit them to the Office of the Chief Disciplinary Council.
