About Thomas Herald

About me

When people’s lives have been devastated by a tragic and avoidable accident, the feelings of loss and facing a long and hard road to recovery from life changing injuries can be overwhelming. How will I survive without my spouse, my son or my daughter? How will I pay the mortgage if I can’t return to work? How will I be able to go back to work with these injuries? When you’re faced with these hardships, you need someone who will listen to you; someone who is on your side; and someone who is experienced in fighting for justice. Tom Herald is that someone.

Veteran trial lawyer Tom Herald represents hard-working people who have been severely injured by the negligence of others. The dedication he brings to his clients’ cases is a natural extension of his own working-class roots. Tom put himself through school, and he knows the other side’s playbook, because he used to represent defendants and insurance companies in the very lawsuits that he prosecutes today. This has given him an edge that most lawyers don’t have, and an insight that benefits his clients.

Tom joined Noteboom The Law Firm in 2014. The firm’s practice includes cases involving car accidents, truck accidents, sexual abuse, sexual assault,  explosion incidents, traumatic brain injuries, workplace negligence, spinal cord injuries, drunk driving cases, wrongful death, motorcycle accidents and others.  The firm is one of the largest personal injury law firms in Tarrant County.  "When you come to see us, you get a team approach to your case. We start with the belief that cases are prepared for trial from day one, because that’s what gets the best results, and that’s when you are taken seriously" says Herald. "We are no strangers to the courtroom."

Tom is proud of the fact that he gets a wide variety of personal injury cases referred to him by other lawyers, lawyers who have placed well-deserved and well-earned trust in his ability to maximize the value of each case he takes on. "This ain’t his first rodeo" says noted criminal defense lawyer Casey Cole. "I refer my clients who have injury cases to Tom because my clients are in great hands with him. Tom has taken difficult cases and made significant recoveries for the clients I have referred to him."

"The most successful lawyers have to be willing to go to trial We focus on people here, when I meet with my client, I am learning their story and envisioning jury selection and opening statement. Everything we do is designed to achieve success for our clients quickly and efficiently."

Tom is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, as well as the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. Above all, he is the proud father of Camden, his pride and joy.
