Dean and Joel represented me in a very complicated Qui Tam (False Claims Act) matter relating to the inappropriate participation of a local hospital in the Medicaid Upper Payment Limit program in Texas. The case was filed in 2005 under seal with the United States Department of Justice having the first opportunity to review and intervene to take the lead in the case if they desired. When the government declined to intervene in 2007, Dean hit the ground running. He was very pro-active, aggressive and creative. Just the kind of attorney you want on your side.
