  • If the petitioner's attorney is writing up the QUESTIONS FOR PROVE-UP OF AGREED DIVORCE, who is he directing the questions too?

Sample::: Q: Would you state your name, please? Q: Are you presently married to ____________?

    Holly’s Answer

The questions will be directed to the party who appears before the court at the prove-up hearing to finalize your divorce. These questions are used to ensure that information regarding things such as the date of your marriage, date of separation, children born of (or adopted) the marriage, and property agreements wil be captured on the court record. If both parties attend the prove-up hearing, you will both be asked questions regarding the agreements reached within your Decree.
