David was a pleasure to work with. Anytime I had a question I could easily get a hold of him. He always ensured that I never had to be at the courthouse any longer than I needed so that I could get back to work.
I had a DUI on New Years Day of 2014. My friends had told me that my girlfriend had had too much to drink, and in the course of diving her home a car ran a red light in front of me while turning right. When I swerved to avoid them my car popped over the median and a wheel came off. The other car drove away. I called 911 to get my car off of the road as soon as possible on the holiday night, and they decided to arrest me based on the circumstances. I passed my field sobriety exams and was very polite, so I was confused when they arrested me after I was the one who called them. By the time they got me to the station I blew a .09.
My case was delayed two years before David finally got it dismissed because it became apparent that the police officer was not going to make an appearance for the trial.
Mr. Burrows and his associate Ms. Alvarez took my case. From our first meeting they gave me a clear understanding of the strategy and presented possible out comes. I was extremely impressed with the level of communication. Any time I called or emailed I received a response within an appropriate amount of time. Great experience working with Mr. Burrows and his office. I highly recommend this law firm.
Mr. Burrows helped me through a seemingly hopeless DUI case and managed, against almost all odds, to get it reduced to a far lesser charge. My BAC was fairly high, and about the only positive was that they had lost the DVD of the arrest -- normally not enough to acquit. However, he navigated the process with extreme aptitude and kindness, and in the end, the DUI was dismissed. His command of the courtroom, his knowledge of precedent, his relationships and reputation within the court system, and his general demeanor and character are second to none. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone, and indeed have. One could not find better representation -- period.
David burrow represented me well in my DWI case I had a .162 blood alcohol concentration level he also provided excellent service to me excellent support with my trying times. Thanks to his excellent service I was able to meet my DWI case and justice was served.
David Burrows was great during my dwi trial. He was very precise in persuading the jury. Very organized and relaxed which made me feel confident in winning my case. He is very well known and respected by the courtroom staff as well. He is truly a excellent attorney for a dwi case.
I had a lawyer for almost two years who kept postponing my Trial Date...until I found David. Within five months my charge of a DWI was dropped to a lesser charge, with one year of non-reporting probation.
Walk into his office and you will immediately gain confidence. There were many thank you cards and dismissal letters along his hall that were from cases that he won. To make a long story short, David not only got my DWI dismissed but put me at ease.
After only seconds of meeting David, I knew he would be my choice to represent my DWI case. That is what David does. After seeing his wall of cases that were either dismissed or found innocent, just from the past year, I realized how good David was at his job. He is well known around the court house which goes an unmeasurable distance when you are fighting a DWI. I am very happy to say that my case was dismissed this morning, and I'm sure David is proudly hanging my dismissal on his wall as I write this review! I don't plan on needing any future legal guidance, but in the slight chance, I would not hesitate one second before calling David. Strongly recommended.
I hired David for A DWI in Dallas County and he made a scary situation turn out positive. His knowledge of Texas statutes and ability to point out inconsistencies in the officer's statements and actions ultimately produced a not guilty verdict from the jury. He kept me informed of the status, listened to me, and showed me how to prove I was not guilty of the charges as I already knew. If you need a lawyer that you knows will fight for you, David is your man.
I had a hard time finding a lawyer as they all seemed the same to me. I met with many of them and I felt like I was sitting through an infomercial in some way or another. I don't usually place a lot of value in the "pitch" but David Burrows seemed to be more genuine than others. Turns out that he was, for which I'm very grateful. He took notes which he seems to refer to consistently, was very realistic, never promised me anything that couldn't be done, and in the end he pulled through. He definitely didn't try to rush my case, which I appreciated (and in the end mattered quite a bit). It was very clear after watching his interactions with various members of the court that he pretty much knew everybody and everybody knew him.
I had a good outcome with what was a very tough case. Even if I didn't, I wouldn't have felt like I wasted the money, but it was obvious that it was through his experience that I got what I did.

David did an exceptional job helping me reduce my charges. I am from out of town and he made sure to stay in touch and inform me of any changes.
