I'm so sorry to hear what happened. I'm assuming the docs told you to get bed rest. Call your OB/GYN if you haven't already and do so immediately.

From a legal perspective, call a personal injury lawyer. Don't talk to anyone from Wal-Mart or their claims handling company from this point forward.

I'm sorry about your accident. My advice is to hire a lawyer. You will, in my opinion, get more money, deal with less stress and the process will go much smoother. Whether it is my firm or another, do yourself a favor and hire a reputable personal injury lawyer.

    back, legs, severe PTSD

    Timothy’s Answer

Hi. There's some good news and bad news here. First, the bad news. Cab companies are notoriously difficult to deal with. I would always recommend hiring a lawyer in a personal injury case, but in your situation it is an absolute must. The good news is that there is no cap on damages in a case like this. Above all else, hire a reputable personal injury lawyer. Let us know if we can help.

  • What kind of attorney handles sexual violations against doctors?

I'm not sure who to talk to. I feel I was sexually violated by a neurologist I visited about a week ago. I filed a complaint with the Texas State medical board but I don't know what that does. I want to make sure it never happens to anyone else. W...

    Timothy’s Answer

I am terribly sorry to hear this. There are a number of types of attorneys who can handle these claims, but someone who does medical malpractice is probably your best bet. Sexual harassment lawyers are probably your second choice if you can't find someone who does both.

If you'd like to give me a call, I'd be happy to talk to you confidentially and give you my opinions. FYI, we handle injury, wrongful death and sexual harassment claims.

I'm sorry for what you've been through. There will be lots of questions along the way, and failure to take the right steps could hurt you in the long run.

Contact a reputable attorney in the Dallas area as soon as possible. We'd be happy to help and happy to talk to you today. I'd definitely call a lawyer before calling my insurance company.

  • Rear ended in Texas, my Honda Odyssey totaled, wife and all 4 of my children were in the mini van. Should we hire a lawyer?

I'm sorry to hear about your accident. I've got two young girls (2 and 10 months) and would have serious concerns about them seeing a chiropractor (and I have nothing against chicorpractors.)

As far as your main question, I would tell you unequivocally to hire a lawyer. I'd avoid the ones on TV, but a good personal injury lawyer will be worth it, no question.

I have personally seen this play out time and time again in my practice. I'd be happy to visit with you for free about the case, and you can decide from there whether to hire me or some other lawyer, or none at all.

    Good luck.

Hi. I'm sorry to hear about your bike wreck. It is tough for bikers on the road. I am a Harley owner myself and know full well the dangers you face.

Feel free to give me a call. I'd be happy to help you. It doesn't bother me in the slightest that the person who caused this is an attorney. In fact, there is a good chance he has a more sizeable insurance policy than many other drivers, which is incredibly important in light of the seriousness of your injuries.

I'd be happy to personally come visit you anytime. Also, insurance companies regularly don't offer full value on Harleys that have been customized. We can help with this for free.

As a biker, I've been helping bikers for years and would be glad to assist you. By the way, we have 2 offices: one in Dallas and one in Carrollton.

Hi Euless. The previous attorney was right on the money.
    1). Get a lawyer.
2). Almost every lawyer that handles injury cases charges you a contingency fee, meaning no attorney fees unless they recover money for you.
3). Most of us will provide a free consultation.

Give us a call and we will come meet with you at your home or workplace. If we don't hear from you, good luck, but do yourself a favor and hire a lawyer.
