Court granted defense Motion to Enter Directed Verdict of Acquittal due to prosecution's failure to prove an essential element of the crimes charged. Client acquitted, case dismissed.

    Mother filed Notice of Intended Relocation with minor child. I represented Father, who objected to proposed relocation. Mother's motion for temporary order allowing reloation was denied. After a day-long bench trial, relocation was denied.

    Description:
    Mother filed petition to modify parenting plan. I represented father, who had primary custody of the two minor children. Mother was asking the court for primary custody and child support. After a day-long trial, court denied the mother's modification requests.

    Description:
    I defended a client who was charged with assault. We chose to go to jury trial because my client was innocent and the prosecutor refused to dismiss the charge or to even offer any reasonable plea bargains. All of the plea bargains required my client to admit guilt by writing an apology letter. She refused to do that, because she was NOT GUILTY! So we went to jury trial, which lasted for a day and a half.
