Chris has been selected as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyer Magazine, and has been featured on television and print media for his commentary on state policy issues affecting the legal profession. Chris is active in the local bar associations as well as the Business and Family Law Sections of the Oklahoma and Texas Bar Associations, the Oklahoma Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.
Chris Smith is a multi-faceted attorney whose practice emphasizes matters relevant to creative entrepreneurs. Chris represents clients in all areas of business law, including general business matters, business formation and succession, estate planning, joint venture and partnership agreements, social media and advertising matters, protection of intellectual property, mobile technology licensing, as well as critical family law matters such as bet the business divorce litigation, split family child planning, custody matters, child support and premarital agreements.

Prior to law school, Chris was a campaign aid to United States Congressman Frank D. Lucas of Oklahoma, as well as a policy aid to former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating.
Chris is an entrepreneur himself having started and developed multiple ventures unique to the legal profession such as law practice management consulting seminar Firm Hacker and the legal lifestyle blog The Lawyer Life.
