I contacted Laura on a company disability case. My employer's insurance carrier had decided to discontinue my long term disability benefits based on their company dr. as do most (large) insurance companies. Based on all the paperwork and dr. reports I provided Laura, she stepped in and went to work. She was able to get my LTD benefits reinstated. Laura is a very professional and hard working attorney, unlike other attorneys I have dealt with in the past (divorce, lien/fraud, bankruptcy). Laura is honest, personable, and upfront and has phenominal knowledge on disability issues. I couldn't have asked for or found a better attorney!

I dealt with Laura's staff - legal assistants, office staff, receptionist, etc. - initially and was treated with respect and dignity. My questions were answered quickly and my phone messages or e-mails were also answered within a day. When my case had to go before a judge, Laura put me at ease and prepared me well for the court experience. I was in the hearing for less than an hour and the judge told me he was ruling in my favor for Social Security which I know they often don't do. I believe it was the work Laura and her team did to prepare the paperwork that allowed him to make his judgement at the hearing.

Filed for disability with a pile of medical documents and was turned down twice within a month. Went to McKinnon Law and from the minute you walk in their door you are a client. Very professional and always treated like your their only client, this firm is wonderful at what they do. You are kept informed, and never rushed if you call. Emails are always answered or if you pop in about something, your treated with dignity. Had my hearing within a year and found out a month later, I was approved! Go to McKinnon Law--they are my new heroes. My forever thanks go to Laura, Kellie, and Catina in Fayetteville, AR and Dianna in Russellville. These ladies are dedicated to their profession and it shows.

I was turned down twice for disability, took my case to McKinnon Law Firm and have not regretted it. I have a hearing scheduled for next month, and I filed a year ago. McKinnon Law Firm has been so supportive, professional, compassionate....I truly cannot think of enough adjectives about this Law Firm. I highly recommend anyone to call McKinnon Law. They have made me feel that someone actually cares and are willing to help me. If you are needing an attorney for disability....call them first. You will not be disappointed. From the first day we walked into their office I have been treated with respect and dignity.

I have nothing but praise for this Attorney. She was very professional, kept me informed of every step, and actually did her homework. Not just on the subject matter but my individual case. She had found out and used information from my doctors, etc that even I didn't know or had forgotten to win my case. I would highly recommend her services.

From my first meeting till my cases were settled Laura and her staff answered all my questions and kept me informed on what was going to happen next. Thanks to Laura things are going good and I can look forward to the future. I would highly recommend the McKinnon Law Firm to anyone needing help.

Laura Mckinnon is an amazing lawyer. She honestly cares about her clients and was extremely dedicated to winning my case. She was also my sister's lawyer and is currently working on a case for my nephew as well. We highly recommend her to everyone we know.

Laura has handled two cases for me and is now in the process of the 3rd. She is the greatest lawyer I have ever meet. I was a person who really didn't believe in Attorneys being honest and really caring but her and her staff are the best. She treats her clients like they are the only one, and that gave me reason to trust her. She has stood by what she says. I have had a e-mail from her at midnight before answering a question I had, that is have devoted she is to her clients. I can't say enough about her and her staff.

Don't waste your time trying to handle your own SS Disability Claims. You will most likely waste over two years of your time, and will be denied disability at least three times. I had over thirty years of federal, state and local criminal investigatory experience, along with related dealings with federal and state courts and a multitude of government and private attorneys and evidentiary scenarios. I believed what SS told me...that I could handle my case successfully. Big mistake. I provided them reams of medical records, testimony and other evidence...including, but not limited to the Veteran's Administration Determination that I was 100% Totally and Permanently Disabled and was taking nearly twenty different prescriptions for various qualifying disabilities. SS DID NOT CARE. After my third denial I hired the McKinnon Law Firm because it became very apparent that I was never going to overcome the complexities of SS Law and Procedures without help. Laura McKinnon and her staff immediately took my records, obtained more records and testimony, got me a Disability Hearing before a real Social Security Disability Judge and won my case. I basically wasted two years of absolute frustration and agony trying to do something way beyond my knowledge and capabilities. My biggest regret is that I didn't hire this Law Firm at the very beginning. They are professionals.

Laura McKinnon and the entire staff are great. I needed help with my social security because another attorney lost my case. Not only did they get me my disability, but they got all of my benefits and now I can take care of my family and provide again. When I came in I was so depressed and Amanda and Tiffany in the Russellville office told me exactly what i needed to do to show the judge I was disabled. I tell all my friends to go there and have Laura win your case.
