Thomas Burns was born in Tacoma Washington where he graduated from Henry Foss High School. After high school he joined the United States Marine Corps where he served for over six years, attaining the rank of Sergeant, and served during operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Upon his honorable discharge Thomas attended and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a BA in Criminal Justice and from the UALR School of Law. Thomas is a resident of Benton Arkansas with his wife Laura and their two children, Jennings and Reagan. Thomas is a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church and active in his community and children’s school.
