Acted like she was doing me a favor WHEN I could get hold of her. Showed no interest in meeting deadlines or actually doing any legal work until the morning we were due in court. More interested in her outfit than the case.
I wish I would have done some homework before I hired Shannon. I wasted a lot of money on her and got nothing but bigger problems when she was done! She will tell you all these things she can do but never comes through. I couldn't get her to return phone calls, answer emails, nothing. The times she did answer she always had a bad attitude and just kept saying "I'm working on it." I laughed when I read the earlier review that she answers phone calls on weekends and holidays and will bet you money that SHE wrote that review because too many other people are on here being honest about her! What a joke.
I hired Shannon this past fall to handle a child custody case....Going into the case I had no clue what to do, actions to take or even the process....I met with Shannon within the first hour I called and spent 2 hours discussing the case and more importantly what to expect, the process and timeframes...Shannon was very detailed and educated on it all...More importantly she was focused on my wants and what I could do.....As the case began, Shannon was always attentive to all my phone calls, texts or emails and was happy to answer the questions I had (which were a lot as I had no clue of the whole process).....I even contacted her on weekends and holidays to which Shannon responded promptly.....As the case moved forward I was always kept up to speed on all happenings and actions that were going on and Shannon was readily available for anything I needexd....The day of the trial I was nervous and not sure what to think but Shannon took control and made the whole thing easy to handle.....Child custody cases are very sensitive and very complexbut Shannon and the Robertson Law Firm helped make mine experience a positive one and helped walk me thru each step.......I recommend Shannon and this firm everyday of the week.
Shannon took over my divorce case after another attorney had started it (but never talked to me about its status). Shannon had a very short time to try to help and was able to make a difference in my case.
She kept me informed of any changes/progress in my case. She is very knowledgeable and believes in doing the best she can to help her clients and their case.
Definately would use her again, if the need arises and have recommended her to other family members and friends.
I hired Shannon Holloway to represent me in a child custody case. She said she would take the case for a total of $8,000.00. I paid her $4,000 up front and later made another payment of $1,000.00. Once Shannon had her money I practically never heard from her again. She did the minimum amount necessary to keep my case going along but would never respond to my emails or return my phone calls. On one of her filings she incorrectly stated my child support so now I am over paying by three-hundred dollars every month! When I later became aggitated by her lack of work and attention I confronted her about the issues and she said she could no longer represent me! She then kept over $3,000.00 of my money after only having my case for a few weeks and spending very little time on it! I work in law enforcement and have many attorney friends who all agreed that Shannon's performance was extremely poor and they would never have treated a client in such a manner. I have now had to start over and retain a new attorney which has definitely been for the better but has come at a huge financial cost. I would not recommend Shannon Holloway or the Robertson Law Firm for any kind of legal service.
