Property line dispute-- I my opinion 1 star is even to high of a rating

Mr Jones is a nice guy to chat with but his legal skills are lacking. I hired him because my neighbors built a fence on my property but they moved it before we even went to court so it was canceled. Then they sued me for filing a malicious claim and I was forced to pay them over 8000 because Mr Jones never bothered to tell the Judge that they had moved the fence. He told me we lost the case because the judge didn't like him. So a appeal was filed and I lost it as well because they said I could enter new evidence which was that they had built a fence on my property. Due to his lack of skills I was forced to file bankruptcy to keep my property because he also failed to file a stay in a timely manner while waiting for the appeals court to make a decision.

    Takes your money does nothing

Hired to assist with an estate matter. Took our money and then did absolutely nothing. Did not explain anything, would not answer questions, did not return phones calls. Avoid this attorney.

Jonathan Drilling Jones’s response: “I take pride in my professional reputation and felt compelled to address the dubious and inaccurate statements made regarding my services. Unbeknown to the "anonymous author" and alleged client, the probate process takes a minimum of six (6) months under normal circumstances, so this fact alone refutes the frivilous review. I have been voted one of Hot Springs "Best Attorneys" three (3) out of the last four (4) years and stand by my track record and "real client" reviews. Regards, JDJ”

    Highly recommended!

I have utilized Mr. Jone's services for almost eight years and have found his thoroughness, professionalism, competence and honest concern for my needs beyond compare. He has always been accessible and responsive, and I have in the past and will not hesitate in the future to recommend him.

    Awesome attorney!

Jonathan represented me in a personal injury / car accident case and fought for me the entire time! He and his staff are always available to help and were quick to answer any questions I had....day or night.

He obtained an excellent financial settlement and I cannot thank him enough for the superb representation he provided to me and my family.

To say that I recommend him highly would be an understatement!

    Excellent representation.

Great attorney and fantastic outcome. Mr. Jones and his staff fought for my rights, kept me informed throughout the process, and obtained an excellent outcome for me and my children. I would HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone who is fighting to keep custody of their children.

    dangerous

Mr. Jones held himself out as a "Real Estate / Corporate Lawyer". We engaged Mr. Jones for a simple transaction while interviewing lawyers to retain full-time for our business. He filled out an online incorporation application for our new business and we paid over $700.00 We later found out that takes about 5 minutes on the Secretary of State's website and costs $45.00. In checking out numerous attorneys we discovered that Mr. Jones has been sued twice for malpractice, one case is currently in the system. While Mr. Jones told us about his attending Hendrix and being voted best attorney in the Sentinel Record, he failed to mention being sued twice for malpractice. According to court documents in Garland County he has brokered deals that have lost his clients copious amounts of money. One other case still before the courts shows that Mr. Jones drafted an agreement that lost his client around $3,000,000.00 Yes, 3 million dollars. Look up his cases in Garland County before you hire him. Fair Warning

Jonathan Drilling Jones’s response: “I feel compelled to address the dubious and inaccurate statements are made regarding the incorporation process within Arkansas. The "5 minute" process the author references is the online filing of the Articles of Incorporation with the Arkansas Secretary of State's Office. What the author unfortunately fails to understand is that this step is only one of many that are needed to become fully incorporated. Any individual call get online and fill out same; however, additional documentation is needed, and mandatory, in order to get full liability protection under Arkansas law. For the last 10 years, I have informed every client of this difference and firmly believe this individual will thank me in the event they are ever sued....as they will not have to come to this realization the hard way. The other statements by "the anonymous poster" are incorrect as well. I am listed within that case because I am legal counsel for the Plaintiff. Never a party...never drafted any agreement...I am simply representing my client in order to recover funds which were defrauded from him. Not realizing this basic difference is indicative of the author's understanding and intent. JDJ”

    Skip this one

This guy has little to recommend him as a lawyer. In addition to filling out the necessary paperwork and interacting with judges and other lawyers, I needed advice and information. Neither of which I got from Jonathan. He would send documents that would literally freak me out with only a note that said 'call if you have questions'. He responded slowly if at all to the other lawyers and never seemed to be on my side. I wouldnt have him defend my dog.
