Christopher J. Leal is the partner of Christopher J. Leal, P.A. Mr. Leal is an accomplished lawyer and a respected member of the South Florida Legal Community. Mr. Leal is a member in good standing of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, as well as, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Florida.


Mr. Leal divides his practice between the areas of commercial litigation, civil litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, and aviation disasters. Combining years of experience within the Florida court system with an understanding of defense tactics, Mr. Leal is fully prepared to provide the advice and advocacy necessary to address each client’s legal needs.


Prior to opening the firm, Mr. Leal served as a policy and legal analyst to the Florida Senate Committee on Agriculture where he served as the staff person responsible for over twenty bills presented during the 2009 legislative session. Additionally, Mr. Leal has clerked for two judges in Florida’s 11th Judicial Circuit and was an associate with the law firm Montoya Lopez, P.L.


Mr. Leal received his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2009. While in law school, Mr. Leal received the Outstanding Pro Bono Service Certificate and the Florida State University College of Law Certificate in Environmental and Land Use Law. Mr. Leal earned his Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University New Orleans in 2006, where he majored in political science and history.
