Patrick Cornelius “Con” Cotter grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Upon graduation, Con accepted a position with Heard, McElroy & Vestal in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed the C.P.A. exam during his first year with the firm. In 2006, after several years working in the firm’s independent audit and valuation departments, Con returned to Baton Rouge to enroll in the Paul M. Herbert Law Center, graduating with his J.D. in 2009.
Con has a wide range of experience with business transactions, commercial litigation, federal and state tax law, and wealth transfer planning. He serves clients in various business sectors including energy, healthcare, real estate, and internet technology.
Con is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, the American Association of Attorney-C.P.A.’s, and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
