About Me

Scott is a mechanics lien and construction law guru, licensed to practice in six states and the founder of the nationwide mechanics lien compliance service, Zlien

After practicing construction law as part of his own law firm (Wolfe Law Group), Scott left the full-time practice of law to focus on serving as CEO for Zlien, the nation's premiere mechanics lien compliance and filing system.  As CEO, Scott has lead Zlien to year-over-year growth and the raising of a first round of venture capital funds organized by the New Orleans Startup Fund.

Scott is an alumni of the New Orleans City Business "Innovators of the Year" class, and the "Leadership in Law Class." He is currently  participating in the New Orleans Idea Village's IDEAxcellerator program, a program that selected Zlien from a pool of over 160 startup companies.

Scott is an expert in credit management tools and accounts receivable management systems. He consults with companies about how to work mechanics lien, preliminary notice and bond claim compliance into their credit policies.

Zlien can help your company manage the complexities of preliminary notice and mechanics lien compliance, or just help you file a mechanics lien.

  • Ernest E Svenson

Scott Wolfe learned the ropes in the construction business from his family, and then he went to law school. Not surprisingly he decided to specialize in construction law. And, also not surprisingly, he excels in this practice area. But, Scott also brings something else to the table that might not be apparent to many people who don't get to work with him close up: he knows how to use technology. Before law school he learned how to create programs, so when I say 'he knows how to use technology' I mean that to an extreme degree. Scott is someone who seeks the innovative way to solve a problem or gain an advantage. His clients are very fortunate to have someone like him. And, beyond all of his business skills, he's also a really great guy.
