Mr. Gapasin was determined to make sure I came out of my trial fully acquitted of all charges. He cross examined the governments only witness against me and any other witness they had. Through twelve long hours of back and forth objections with the trial counsel I was fully acquitted of all charges and he proved that the governments only witness was lying. If you need a lawyer that is willing to fight for you to make sure you're given a just trial. Mr. Gapasin is the one for you.

After almost close to two years and a overzealous trial prosecutor. Mr. Gapasin and a determined ADC came into town and defended what was an apparent UCI and prepped/trained witnesses. In the end, all the prepping and lying couldn't save the govt. I was charged with 14 specifications and walked out with 2 meaningless guilty, 1 reprimand, and no confinement.

I, consulted with Mr. Ernesto C. Gapasin Jr. (E.G.) in Aug 2014 about a military case and deadline quickly approaching. E.G. told me his experience and background during our consultation, he resonated with me very well initially. Months later in February 2015, he agreed to take on my case for about half his retainer fee. Unlike a professional, he didn't have a contract or term agreement in place for me (red flag). After receiving $3,000 from me, E.G. avoided my calls for weeks, then months with no status updates (red flag), when i was able to make contact with him he charged me for desiring to know his progress on my case. When i spoke to him over the phone, i also noticed that he was no more competent on my case than before our consultation (red flag). In July 2015, after E.G. seemingly avoided contact with me for 2 months; my fiancee called his receptionist and requested a call back from him. He answered her call swiftly. When questioned about the avoidance of contact with me, E.G. stated, "I've been busy with other clients". Although, he believed my fiancee was a new client and responded swiftly. Furthermore, we got into a debate about what he actually did on my case since being paid. Turns out, E.G. firmly believed that he was paid $3,000 to only do what was done in our initial consultation (to see if this case was trial worthy because that is where he shines), then he stated "I cant help you". I requested a refund of my money to hire an Attorney whom could aid in my defense, and after discovering other military attorney's whom could, E.G. agreed to do the work for an additional $12-15,000 after he had already told me he was not in a position to effectively work. My fiancee filed a BBB complaint because she aided in paying the agreed retainer fee. E.G. called me after witnessing his 16 year sterling reputation at risk of negative client feedback. He then called me, after months of avoidance, and offered to give a refund if she would remove the BBB complaint. After going back and forth about how much should be returned, he responded to the BBB complaint by dishonorably airing Attorney-Client privileged information pertaining to my case in his response to BBB. The BBB then deemed the complaint "out of purview". Then, E.G. after agreeing to refund us, and with my dwindling window for the deadline to petition for a new trial approaching, refused to refund my money. I took this complaint to the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel, we are pending their decision later this month. My advice to anyone whom hires Ernesto is 1.) Get all the terms of his service in writing. 2.) Ensure you have an actual trial, which is supposed to be where he "shines". 3.) know that he will use dishonorable acts and his political reputation, instead of his actual performance as your Attorney to shield him should you file a less than stellar complaint about him. Which partially explains his above-average ratings.

Ernesto, was an awesome attorney. I hired Ernesto in May of 2014 and we did not go into court until Nov 23, 2015. Ernesto was professional and engaging the entire time. He was very accessible throughout the long legal process leading to the day of court. He was passionate about my case and I felt like I knew him for years after a short period of time.
On the day of court, he had a plan, but like any good plan - it was subject to change. Ernesto had very impactful opening and closing statements and was very organized and prepared to counter any of the imposing arguments. There were several spontaneous events during the court proceeding to include accessing Face Book for pictures. His keen attention to detail allowed us to maneuver our way through the entire proceedings and make changes as necessary to leave a lasting impact on the board and the court room.
I am very appreciative of his hard work, dedication to his client and hunger for justice.
I highly recommend obtaining him as your attorney in a time of crisis.
Thanks to Ernesto, I am able to continue to serve in the Army and protect this great nation.

After being accused of multiple charges by the Military I knew I had to hire the best. After a lot of research and talking to many lawyers I choose Mr. Gapasin. He was there for me whenever I needed him during my court martial. He fought tooth and nail to prove my innocence of crimes that were collaborated by other soldiers. These charges could have ruined my life and my career. However Mr. Gapasin with his hard charging tactics and experience shown during court. Final outcome was not guilty, I couldn't be happier and thank you Mr. Gapasin for standing by me through all of this. Now I can continue my career and be there for my family all because of you. If you want the best and someone that will put in the extra work then Mr.Gapasin is the right man for you. Thank you again, you have saved my life.

  • The best attorney who defended me against hand-picked best prosecutors in the Pacific!

Mr. Ernesto Gapasin is the best lawyer you can hire. I will not hesitate to hire him. He defended me against the “hand-picked” best prosecutors in the Pacific. I believe my case is in the “unofficial” military record of facing most number of charges with the result of FULL Acquittal in the military Court-Martial. I faced false allegation charges from Rape, Sexual assault, to other military related charges that were initiated by foreign ex-wife whom wanted a revenge for divorcing her. My corrupted chain of command supported her and added other charges to make sure I will be found guilty of something…if not all and to make me look bad in front of the panel members. I faced over 100 years in confinement if I was found guilty of all charges. From the allegations, investigations, Article 32 hearing, and to the date of Court-Martial took almost 15 months. In the court, Mr. Gapasin was able show the Officer panel that she was lying from the beginning and displayed her evil and vindictive motives to destroy me. The judge and panel members could be believe how my chain of command and prosecution team wasted their time and government's money to have the court martial against me. During the 15 months, was my hardest moment in my life and Mr. Gapasin was there for me each and every day. He believed in my case and I believe in his ability to defend any clients like he did with me. I trust him 100% with my life because he literally saved my life in the court room that day. I was able to continue my Army career afterwards and have been successful. I, absolutely recommend that you hire Mr. Gapasin to represent you.

  • General Court Martial facing over 40 years of confinement and sex offender registration. Full acquittal!

I was charged with multiple offenses under the UCMJ based on a 15-6 Investigation from my chain of command that led to a general court martial with me facing over 40 years of confinement and sex offender registration. From the moment of consulting Mr. Gapasin to hire him for my defense until the end of the court martial he informed me of every course of action that he was going to take throughout the whole process including me in the decision making. During the court martial Mr. Gapasin proved that not only the accuser but the witnesses were incredible and dishonest. In the end I was found NOT GUILTY of all charges and specifications! Words or actions cannot show the gratitude I have towards Mr. Gapasin, I truly feel that without his experience and dedication as a defense attorney I would not be able to be with my family today. I highly recommend Mr. Gapasin to represent you!

I was charged with multiple offenses under the UCMJ based on testimony of other officers i had considered friends. From Day 1 Mr. Gapasin kept me informed throughout the whole process. I faced a year long investigation which ultimately led to a General court martial. Mr Gapasin defended me to the very end. The end results were that i was found NOT GUILTY of all charges and specifications. I cannot thank Mr. Gapasin enough. Without his experience, drive, and devotion to proving my innocence, i would be sitting in confinement and ultimately carry with me a conviction.

  • U.S. Army (Major) - Board of Inquiry

    5.0 stars

I was looking to retain a Defense Attorney for a Military Board of Inquiry (BOI) that was constituted based on an Article 15 and General Officer Memorandum of Reprimand (GOMOR) that had been levied on me and placed in my Official Military Personnel File (OMPF). This was based on statements that were of of inappropriate nature. These types of accusations (whether unfounded or not) can cost you a lot more than just a career, they can cost you your benefits. I have over 15 years Active Duty and have served in the Gulf War, Iraq three times, and Afghanistan.
I found Mr. Gapasin online after speaking to a few others. I found him to be genuine and trustworthy and that he was a person with a willingness to help (not just fees). He immediately requested an extension to my hearing and we began putting our case together. He gathered my facts rather quickly and began composing my witnesses and making his recommendations as to who should be present, be telephonic, and/or provide character statements; to include the reasons why. He made it a point to make a recommendation to strategies, but always asked ME what I thought about the idea. He was definitely "Customer" focused.
The day prior to the hearing Mr. Gapasin arrived and met with me and we finalized our game plan. This guy listens and absorbs like a spung...The next day at the hearing we arrived at the BOI and commenced with opening statements, I was astounded with his delivery. He cross examined all of the prosecution's witness and discredited all of them; as the Board Members (by perception) believed they were fabricating their accounts of the facts.
The end result was ultimately receiving an Involuntary Separation with an Honorable Discharge and without any Personal Misconduct on my behalf. The Separation was truly unavoidable as the Military is cutting down on manpower and I had derogatory information in my OMPF. This case was a WIN.
Being represented with Mr. Gapasin's wit, intuition, and professionalism this all was possible. He is astounding in the courtroom and his characterization of being an astute Defense Attorney is his claim to fame.
Thank you Ernesto, for your candidness, believing in me, and your professionalism!!!
