In our recent condo sale we were faced with some difficult buyers. Paul was able to guide us smoothly through the process and we were able to close on time despite several setbacks. He was consistently following up with all parties, keeping us informed about our options, and several times going above and beyond the call of duty to get the deal done. Paul is knowledgeable, ethical, practical, and we would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone.
Paul has now closed two property purchases for me in Chicago and will continue to act as my lawyer for further purchases. I am based in Hong Kong and needed a trustworthy lawyer who could educate me on property purchases in Chicago, take initiative on my behalf, and communicate effectively despite the significant time zone difference. Despite the extra hassle of having an HK based client, Paul has maintained a high service level and stuck to a reasonable flat service fee.

He was knowledgeable and did a great job handling some wrinkles that came up during the appraisal process. I appreciated that he conveyed the right amount of information at the closing.
The only area I thought he might improve was being a little more proactive at letting us know when some deadlines were coming due (e.g. I had to reach out about the funds escrow before he sent over the info), but he went above-and-beyond to respond quickly to my requests, even over a weekend.
I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family who were buying or selling a home.

He was always on top of deadlines and went out of his way to help me with all matters relating to the purchase and sale of my condo -- even those not directly related to his purview. I always felt I was in good hands and I trusted him completely. Beyond that, his rates are incredibly competitive and fair. Even when I wanted to pay him more he declined!
