Did you plead guilty. Did you receive court supervision or probation? Is it a conviction on your record? There are a lot of subtle differences when dealing with expunging or clearing your criminal background and the laws concerning expungment vary by state. If your case was dismissed, nol prossed or you were acquitted in Arkansas; you may be eligible for an expungement.

I would advise you to hire an experienced criminal defense attorney in your area to assist you in filing an expungment.

  • I received a letter from probation department.....

the letter states...as a condition of your probation you are to report to your probation officer as directed. It has become necessary to reschedule your next appointment. ...which they gave me the time it is rescheduled for. Any advice on what t...

    Michael’s Answer

Without seeing the entire letter it would mean to me that they are rescheduling your appointment. Are you currently meeting with a probation officer on a monthly basis? I would call to confirm the next appointment and go to that appointment. Also, I would hold onto the letter in case for some reason they decide to violate your probation for a missed appointment.

Its sounds as though you need to petition the DMV for a hardship license that would allow you to drive to and from specific places. I would advise you to hire an expeienced attorney that handles DMV hearings. You can assist the attorney by bringing all of the paper work that you have from you two previous DUI's.

Did you pay bail or did you plead guilty and pay a fine. Did you receive court supervision or probation? Is it a conviction on your record?
