Jeffrey Scott Hyslip

I am an attorney practicing Federal Law in Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Colorado, Indiana and Pennsylvania.  I started and manage the Fair Collection Law Department at Legal Helpers/Macey and Aleman.  We have over 60 offices in over 20 states, nationwide.  After two years of developing and managing the practice, we are now the largest fair collection law firm in the Country.  I'm told by some of the companies that I sue that our volume is larger than all of the other law firm's volume combined.

Before starting  the Fair Collection Law Department here, I worked in Columbus, Ohio where I was a Commercial Litigation, Collections and Foreclosure Attorney.  I previously assisted debt collectors defend their lawsuits against consumers that sued them and did consulting work for collection agencies to enable them to abide by the law.  Obviously, I am on the exact opposite side, now.

I consider myself a business person first and an attorney second.  I'm thrilled to have used my business expertise to help build such a large and effective consumer defense mechanism.  So far, we've assited over ten thousand clients and have recovered millions of dollars for them.  Additionally, I've been mentioned in magazines, newspapers and been on local news programs across the Country.

I'm currently researching new practice areas for the law firm.  Nothing satisfies me more than helping those that are sometimes unable to help themselves.  After all, almost every attorney I know goes to law school to help people.
