    Defendant was a U.S. Marine who was involved in an incident involving the death of an Iraqi civilian. After his squad mates turned against him and accepted pleas the pressure was on to also plea guilty. I turned down the plea agreement and went to trial. He was found not guilty of the murder charge. He was released at the conclusion of the trial and went home with his family after 18 months in jail.
