Elizabeth Rompf Bruen is an immigration attorney with Scott D. Pollock and Associates, P.C., in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Bruen represents clients in all areas of immigration law including family based immigration, employment based immigration, naturalization, waivers of inadmissibility, removal defense, VAWA applications, U visas, T visas, immigration litigation and appeals. She currently co-chairs the Executive Office of Immigration Review Liaison Committee of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Chicago Chapter, she has served as a member of the Midwest Regional Conference Planning Committee for the Chicago Chapter, and is a former chair of its Asylum Office Liaison Committee. Ms. Bruen is also a past chair of the Immigration & Nationality Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. She previously was a staff attorney and clinical instructor for the DePaul College of Law Asylum and Immigration Law Clinic in Chicago. She also served as a judicial law clerk for the Executive Office of Immigration Review and was a case manager and legal coordinator for the Marjorie Kovler Center for the Treatment of Survivors of Torture. Ms. Bruen graduated, cum laude, from DePaul College of Law, and she received her B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in Government and International Affairs. Originally from Kentucky, Ms. Bruen lives in Chicago with her husband and son.
