File a motion in the court where the garnishment order was issued asking for an accounting of the amounts garnished from your paychecks. Serve notice of the motion on your employer and the debt collector. The Judge should help you get this resolved. Good Luck. Jeffrey Whitcomb Whitcomb Law Firm, Ltd. www.whitcomblawfirm.com

To answer your question, you need to draft a Complaint alleging viable legal theories against the Defendants and then file it with the Court. Then have each of the Defendants served with a Summons and a copy of the Complaint. That would get you started. I agree with the others that you would be better off consulting with an attorney. The 30 days you reference, applies to final orders and judgments. From what you posted, it does not sound like the denial of a motion to appoint counsel is a final order or judgment. So, you can move to reconsider the prior ruling at any time, so long as the case is still pending. Good Luck. Jeffrey Whitcomb Whitcomb Law Firm, Ltd. www.whitcomblawfirm.com

Sounds to me like you have a claim. In Illinois, you have a case if you slip and fall due to an UNNATURAL accumulation of ice and / or snow. From what you have stated, the ice accumulated where it did due to a leaking gutter. This would be an unnatural accumulation of ice, for which you can file a claim. You should contact a local personal injury lawyer. If you cannot find one on AVVO, give me a call me. Good Luck. Jeffrey L. Whitcomb Whitcomb Law Firm, Ltd. www.whitcomblawfirm.com

If a minor's estate was opened, which it should have been, there is typically a bond posted to guaranty that you get the money you are entitled to. Your first approach should be to hire an attorney to make a claim against the bond. That is the easiest way to get your money back. You should look for an attorney that practice in the county where your injury case took place. If you cannot find one, call me and I will try to put you in touch with someone. Good Luck!
