Previously a senior associate in the Chicago office of the international law firm Baker & McKenzie, Mr. Neiburger left the executive compensation and employee benefits practice group to start his own law firm. Ben quickly became a recognized and respected attorney in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning and Medicaid Planning, which includes expertise in Special Needs Trusts and Tax Planning.
Mr. Neiburger is an active member of The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and regular participant and speaker for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE) while in continuous pursuit of knowledge and insight to the laws and finances that affect families and senior citizens.
After graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Finance, Mr. Neiburger added CPA to his name, received his law degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and passed the Illinois State Bar Exam. Ben was an Adjunct Professor of Law at Chicago-Kent for four years and a top regional instructor for the Becker CPA Review course. During his tenure at Baker & McKenzie, Ben was also chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Employee Benefits Law Committee.
In addition to membership in the DuPage County Bar Association, Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce, Oak Park Senior Citizen’s Services Committee, and as a member of the Ray Graham Foundation Board of Directors, Mr. Neiburger is a frequent speaker and writer in his specialty areas of law. |
