What a great experience. He quickly took care of a ticket in Wisconsin without even having to appear and then dealt with a construction zone ticket in Illinois - getting the ticket reduced to a "normal" speeding ticket with supervision. Saved money on the fines and increased insurance rates. Smooth and painless.... I would highly recommend Mr. Albanese to anyone who might need help with a traffic violation. I know he does criminal work as well and mu guess would be he'd be great at that as well

My experience with Mr. Albanese was excellent: Richard is very knowledgeable and professional lawyer. I found that he was very easy to talk with and easy to get a hold of, especially when I would reach out to him after hours. Mr. Albanese is very diligent, persistent and effective lawyer who knows how to get the job done for his clients. I was very satisfied with the outcome of my case. He also understood my financial situation and allowed me to make payments during the span of my case. I would highly recommend Mr. Albanese to anyone looking for great results!

I'm an Illinois resident who recieved a speeding ticket at Hwy 50 and Hwy 94. It wasn't a terrible ticket but a violation of the law none the less. I found Richard on line after doing a google search and was most impressed by his clear and concise explantion of Wisconsin Law as it pertains to an Illinois residents. After speaking with Richard on the phone I was even more impressed by his understanding of my situation and his confidence in a favorable outcome. Richard was polite, easy to work with and very accommodating. We only needed to communicate with each other by email once we had an intial phone conversation. His communications were prompt and simple. Best thing of all, I did not need to appear in court in Kenosha! He did all that on my behalf. The final outcome was as he thought it would be and I'm very relieved to have the ticket off my record. Thanks Richard!

I highly recommend Mr. Albanese. I was charged with a Class B Misdemeanor for speeding in IL and was very concerned about having such a conviction on my record and the potential damaging effect on my career. I contacted Mr. Albanese as soon as I found out the serious nature of my charge and received a call back almost immediately. He addressed my concerns in a professional yet sympathetic manner and explained what I could expect to happen at court. On my court date, he negotiated with the prosecutor and was able to get the charges reduced to a petty traffic offense that would not go on my driving record if the fine and court fees were paid by the end of the court supervision date. It was the best outcome I could hope for in my situation. He's the lawyer I will go to if I ever face another legal issue in the future. I recommend him without any hesitation.

Richard helped me defend a speeding ticket I received while driving to the scene of an accident. He was a bit more expensive than his competition, but his approach was more sophisticated than simply pleading guilty and trying to cut a deal. In the end it took 4 appearances, a letter to a supervisor, requesting radar gun data and a few other things, but he stuck with me through the 6-month process. When we initially were offered a poor settlement, his experience was really helpful in crafting a strategy that eventually led us to the settlement we wanted. Whenever I asked for an update he promptly responded, although I wished he was a bit more proactive with touching base prior to each court date. I am pleased with his service, and would recommend him.

I'm an Illinois resident and received a speeding ticket in Wisconsin. Not wanting my insurance or driving record to be affected, I contacted Mr. Albanese. He was very quick to respond throughout the process and explained possible outcomes very clearly. He was able to get the speeding ticket brought down to a non-moving violation so that neither my insurance nor driving record will be impacted. In addition, Mr. Albanese appeared in court on my behalf so I did not need to travel the several hours to the county in which I was ticketed.

I found Richard by searching online for someone to help with a speeding ticket my daughter received in Wisconsin. It was her first ticket and I was worried what it would do to our insurance rates. Richard was very responsive and helpful. He explained to me the impact of the ticket and how the laws differ between WI and IL. He explained how he thought he could help and what to expect. I feel that his fees were fair and he accomplished exactly what we had hoped for. He also did a great job in keeping me informed all along the way. Without hesitation, I would recommend Richard Albanese.

My daughter received a speeding ticket in Wisconsin although we live in Illinois. Luckily, Richard is licensed in both states and he spent a lot of time outlining the different options available. Richard was very honest about the possible outcomes and kept us informed throughout the whole process. My daughter had a very favorable outcome and I would highly recommend him.

While on vacation I was ticketed in a small town in central Wisconsin which I later learned was notorious for being a speed trap. Having a clean record, I did not want what I perceived to be an unfair and unrepresentative charge to stick with me, especially in a way that would impact my insurance costs. I contacted several law firms in the Fond du Lac area to understand my options, thinking that lawyers practicing locally would be the most informed. Many of them asked for a fairly large fee and did not treat me as I felt a businessperson should treat a potential client, with one even telling me, "To be honest, nobody in Wisconsin likes Illinois drivers." I found Richard's website and was encouraged by what seemed to be his knowledge of both Wisconsin and Illinois traffic matters, and how issues in one state can affect residents of the other.
Richard was responsive via email (within an hour or two, in the evening) as well as via phone (following up the next day). He spoke with me in a very professional manner and made me feel like he actively wanted to reach a good resolution for me (unlike some of the Wisconsin firms with whom I had spoken). Through the process, he kept me up to date and let me know exactly what I needed to do at each stage. Ultimately, he got the citation reduced to a non-moving violation, which was the best result as it would not have an effect on my Illinois license and insurance. I hope I don't require Richard's services again, but if so, I would contact him without hesitation. Highly recommended.

I live out of state and caught a case in Lake Zurich, IL while out for a friend's wedding. I had a similar prior and was worried to no end as to what might happen in another court and how the whole process would be handled, how it could affect my future, etc. I looked up attorneys on this website to make sure I found someone who knew how to handle my case. The first attorney I called had a receptionist answer and advised me I would need to have about a 45 minute phone interview to see if they would handle my case. This turned me off right away. So I said thank you and called Richard next as he also held a very high rating. Richard picked up the phone himself on a Monday morning 1st try and had the time and patience for me to explain all the details of what he could expect with my case. I was concerned about how much I might need to travel back to the area and several other factors to consider. Richard helped me to navigate many of the obstacles I would or might face every step of the way and was always available. When in court for sentencing I watched him repeatedly not take no for an answer while working with the prosecution to achieve the best deal we could have hoped for. He knows his stuff and he's a truly caring professional. When I had questions multiple times throughout the couple of months that it took to resolve my case he was either available or returned my call or email in a timely manner. I wouldn't doubt that many other lawyers could have ended up having me face a much worse punishment which we both felt I didn't deserve. So if you're doubting for even a second if you should hire him to defend you, DON'T! I really can't say enough good things about him. Beware of attorneys with too many clients or unrelated matters going on that cause them to have a partner or assistant handle the case in court for you. Often times these guys don't know what they're doing and might not really care what happens to you or what you and the main attorney was working on for you (I realized this from my prior and this was something that Richard brought up himself when I first called him). If this review seems like maybe him, a friend, or family member is writing it to you, it's probably because he treats his clients like they're his family or friend and I owe a huge amount of gratitude towards him for that! If you're reading this you're probably concerned about how your case will affect your future and if the courts will unfairly bend you over. Do yourself a favor and give this guy a call!
