Estate Plans for Families with Loved Ones that have Special Needs

Matthew Allan Quick

Practice Area:Estate Planning

Outcome:The family was provided a complete estate plan for a very reasonable flat-fee.

Description:I have developed estate plans for families with loved ones that have special needs that entail a very understanding, detailed and compassionate approach to the care and custody of the loved one(s) with special needs. In addition, the plans have considered the needs of the parents, detailing distribution of property, tax planning, and directing their health care and property in the event they are unable to do so. The documents typically used in such plans include Powers of Attorney for Health Care, Declarations for Mental Health Treatment, HIPAA Waivers, Powers of Attorney for Property, Deeds, Special Needs Trusts and Wills.
