About Me

Nick's practice is devoted entirely to property tax appeals. Nick represents owners and occupants of all types of commercial property, including apartments, shopping centers, hotels, auto dealerships, office buildings, industrial facilities, and medical office buildings.

Each year, Nick achieves substantial reductions in his clients' assessed values, yielding millions of dollars in tax savings in Minnesota. Additionally, Nick's firm serves as the Minnesota property tax specialist in the National Property Tax Group, which provides property tax reduction services across all 50 states through its network of local and regional boutique property tax firms.

Nick currently serves as the Chairman of the IPT's 2014 Property Tax Symposium and is a past Chairman of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Tax Council. Nick has served on both the IPT Property Tax Symposium Committee and the MSBA Tax Council since 2010.

For years, Nick has been a frequent lecturer on the topics of property taxes and valuation to audiences of appraisers, attorneys, commercial real estate brokers, property managers, and corporate tax personnel.

For five consecutive years (2010-2014), Nick has been the only Minnesota property tax lawyer selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.com, Minneapolis Saint Paul magazine, Minnesota Law & Politics magazine, and Twin Cities Business magazine. The Super Lawyers-Rising Stars list represents the top Minnesota attorneys age 40 or younger.estate brokers, property managers, and corporate tax personnel.
