About Me

Minnesota Personal Injury Lawyer

Benjamin Reitan

Benjamin L. Reitan began practicing law in 2002. Ben began his legal career in San Diego, California. While in law school Ben clerked at a successful San Diego personal injury law firm. After law school Ben practiced civil litigation at a San Diego law firm that specialized in business litigation. While at the firm Ben worked on many complex cases including gasoline pricing disputes against major oil companies and multi-national business disputes.

In 2005 Ben made the difficult decision to leave San Diego and return to his home state of Minnesota where he partnered with his father, Philip Reitan, at Reitan Law Office, PLLC.

At Reitan Law Office, PLLC Ben limits his practice to helping individuals who are injured and disabled. Ben handles Personal Injury cases, Worker’s Compensation cases, Social Security Disability appeals, and Private Short and Long Term Disability Appeals. All cases are handled on a contingent fee basis.

Ben would be happy to meet with you to discuss any claim, dispute, or issue you have involving the above areas of practice. There is no cost or obligation to meet with Ben and discuss your claim.

Away from the office Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and young children, Brayden and Gabrielle.

I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Reitan is one of a dying breed of lawyers who through his depth of experience and breadth of knowledge knows exactly how to cut to the heart of the matter and explain to a client his or her likely chances of prevailing on a claim. His approach and manner is cordial with clients and opposing counsel, and best of all, he gets excellent results. I have referred several matters to Ben over the past 3 years and I will continue to do so in the coming years. The familiar refrain I hear back is that Ben works tirelessly for his clients, all the while keeping them timely informed of the status of their case. Too many other lawyers claim to be too busy to do the same, leaving many of their clients feeling alone v. the system. If you want a lawyer on your side and in your corner, you will not find a more friendly and effective advocate than Ben Reitan.
