    Alcohol and drug use as well as neglect could be reasons for supervised parenting time. You could request supervised visitation based on these.

    If he refuses to work without good reason, you can ask the court to assign potential income to him. However practically, if he doesn't have money to pay you, you may have to be satisfied that his arrears to you are continuing to accrue.

    Parenting time is based on the best interests of the children and is determined on a case by case basis. There are thirteen factors the court must consider when making this determination and it requires a more thorough examination than what can reasonably be done on a forum like this.

    You don't need to hire a lawyer, but if your spouse is trying to get away without paying child support, I strongly suggest you retain counsel.
