About me

I pride myself on client education, compassion for my clients, and diligence in the pursuit of justice for my clients. As it should be, my clients are my first priority. Representing clients effectively requires a great deal of education, experience and passion. My tenacity in sticking with my clients until they achieve the right result is what sets me apart from others in my field. I have the respect of not only my colleagues, but of my adversaries as well.

I practice in the area of Personal Injury and Wrongful Death, assisting clients with insurance benefits, injury and loss compensation, arbitration, and litigation. I focus on Trucking Litigation, Wrongful Death, Automobile Accidents, Liquor Liability, and Dog Attacks.

In 1993, I graduated with Honors Cum Laude from Gustavus Adolphus College. I am also a 1998 Cum Laude Honors graduate of William Mitchell College of Law. I have focused on the areas of Personal Injury and No-Fault law since 1998.

I have been a faculty member and chair of numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars, particularly on the topics of Personal Injury and No-Fault law. I am also a qualified neutral for the American Arbitration Association.

In 2008 I was made a Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum - a national organization comprised exclusively of members who have achieved Million Dollar results for their clients.

I have been named, for the fifth time, a Rising Star among Minnesota lawyers. Minnesota Law & Politics, in their January 2008 magazine, published my name as one of the top 2½% of up-and-coming lawyers in the State, as nominated by the Super Lawyers® of Minnesota.

I am admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota and the United States District Court, District of Minnesota. I am active in my local Bar Associations, and am an accomplished and recognized member of Minnesota Association for Justice (formerly the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Associations/MTLA). In 2001, I began my leadership track as a Chair/Co-Chair of the MN Justice No-Fault Committee, a position I held for six years. We continue our work on important consumer issues affecting victims of car accidents throughout the State. I have been appointed to the MN Justice Board of Governors and have served on that Board since 2003. In 2005 I served on the Executive Committee of MN Justice. I also Co-Chair the Women Lawyers Section of MN Justice.

I live in Arden Hills with my husband and two young daughters. My personal interests revolve around my family and home. I enjoy landscaping and gardening, home remodeling and decorating, spending time with my children, and a variety of creative arts.
