  1. I'm facing a OWI in Wisconsin for having THC in my system and it's my first offense... is it worth getting a defense lawyer?

    there is also a good possibility that you will be criminally charged for the THC, so you should at least talk to an attorney.

    yes, he can be taken to jail while the PO/police investigate. The agent will take his statement and then determine whether to revoke him.

    This also could include lifetime registration as a sex offender. He shouldn't talk to the police or make any admissions involving the intercourse!

    Depends what your paperwork says but if he is behind on child support, he will not be able to claim unless the paperwork says he does get to even if he is behind on child support. Call your local child support office and ask them, they usually have access to your file and can tell you.

    depends, when were you convicted? If you were convicted less than 7 years ago, then yes. If you were convicted (sentenced) more than 7 years ago, then no.

    You can be charged with bail jumping-felony or misdemeanor depending on what you were orignailly charged with.

    WI is an at will employment state. You can fire someone for any reason you want as long as you don't do so for a discriminatory reason (age, race, religion ect). You can also contest unemployment based on her behavior.
