I chose to practice law because I enjoy analyzing problems, researching solutions, and advocating for people. I am a strong believer in defending every right of every client in every proceeding, from the first contact with police through dismissal, court trial, jury trial, or plea and sentencing. One of my strengths is my pretrial motion practice. From motions to dismiss criminal charges to motions to suppress statements or other evidence, I explore all of the opportunities to effectively advocate for my clients.
As an undergraduate at the University of Kansas, I majored in Economics and Spanish, and earned departmental honors in Spanish. My hobbies include writing comedy and satire, running, playing tenor saxophone, and coffee tasting.
