I grew up in Seymour, Wisconsin. I graduated from St. Norbert College with a Bachelors of Business Administration, and also majored in economics. After graduation I worked for a local law firm and then moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University College of Law. During law school and after graduation, I worked for the Hlustik, Huizenga, Williams & Vander Woude, Ltd. law firm where I handled business, real estate and tax matters for clients. I returned to Northeast Wisconsin in 2008.
I is licensed to practice law in both Wisconsin and Illinois. I currently handles business law (from organization to dissolution), real estate (both residential and commercial), estate planning and bankruptcy matters. I am also a member of the St. Norbert College Alumni Board and the Howard-Suamico Optimists.
