Hired him for a simple divorce, asked for $5,000 in cash in advance ... and then made sexual advances soon after! Unreliable, doesn't return calls or email, staff often rude, routinely he's unavailable or out of the office.
Hired him several years ago for our company immigration issue. This should have been a simple case as we were applying for an H1b visa for a German to work in our company. He did nothing on the case and we eventually lost the prospective employee. I would stay away from him.
Hired him he wanted $10,000. Got loan and paid him as he came highly recommended. He is slow doesn't return phone calls or letters - takes him at lease a month when he does respond. Never did file a suite for us then recommended we get a "local" lawyer one that isn't so expensive to file our suite. He says he used $8,000 on research - hard to believe. Hired him 2-3 years ago and he just called me today to basically dump this case. Unless you are Mexican descent or having immigration problems stay far away from him.
Arellano was able to get my husband's green card in a very timely manner. he was always professional and knowledgeable.
I hired this lawyer in July for a I601 Waiver case. My husband came home with his immigrant visa on August 20, 2009. Mr. Arellano was very honest and upfront. He never misrespresented his abilities or how difficult this type of case is. He had very reasonable rates compared to other lawyers with less experience.
