Having tried more than 100 jury trials and innumerable court trials, Sara Gehrig concentrates her practice in civil litigation, especially work in business, school, and family law. Sara recognizes that few organizations or individuals want to be in court, but when they face litigation, her courtroom credibility and skills help clients achieve the best possible results. Sara excels in guiding her clients past immediate emotional and financial concerns to keep the larger perspective in sight and plan for the future after their matter has been resolved. Taking a practical, problem-solving approach, Sara develops cost-effective solutions to help her clients reach long-range goals.
Sara joined Nowlan & Mouat in 2002 and became a partner in 2007. A graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, she served as an Assistant District Attorney for the State of Alaska in 1996 and worked as a prosecutor in Alaska and Idaho between 1996 and 2002. In 2008 Sara argued and prevailed in a case before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. In 2010 Sara helped a Wisconsin municipality recover $2 million from a large pipeline company for damages to public roads.
