  • Who gets to keep the engagement ring if there is no married in wisconsin?

He contacted a cop who callede and wants the ring back, but he has a no contact order, isnt that violating his no contact since its through a third party?

    Nicholas’s Answer

It depends on the intent. If it was a 100% gift with no expectation of getting it back, marriage or not, the recipient can keep it. If there were strings attached, the giver is probably entitled to it.

    Nicholas’s Answer

You tried your best but obviously the judge wasn't going to rule in your favor if you stood on your head. Judges don't get ahead dismissing traffic tickets. You could appeal, but those can be time-consuming and expensive. I commend you for trying!
