The job is done. Mr. Loeb has been paid but he continues to answer my calls and help me with my transition. No charge. Just a good person who cares about his clients.
I found Mr. Loeb to be attentive, kind, professional and efficient. He always got back to me promptly when I had a question and he handled my case in a timely manner.
I had a basic case where I was obviously not guilty. We took it to trial and being so passive-aggressive, I lost and got a harsher sentence than if I would have just plead guilty. Not only did his incompetence cost me my freedom and hard earned money, but he nickel and dimes your retainer fee until there is nothing. He will send you an e-mail basically about nothing just to charge you for 10 minutes of his time. This will happen at least once a week. Since he charged me so much, I do not even have enough to appeal. Truthfully, I am not writing this review because I am scorned, but to warn any potential client of his weaknesses.
He is worth about 1/3 of what he charges, and that is just to represent you for a case you are definitely guilty. He has no trial experience, and you will end up just like me. With the money I paid and am still paying, he should take it and enroll in some assertiveness classes. I did not have a problem with him, except for his penny-pinching, until the trial, where he has no business. I would not recommend him if you are intending to go to trial. Overall, too expensive for experience, and needs to take some courses on how to be assertive.
Writing this on a behalf of my boyfriend, this has been the worst lawyer I have ever encountered. I am not sure about WI standards, but he fails by every other one. Has been dragging out a simple case for a year now, leaving me with an impression that he is a scam artist. Not even good enough for simple cases, run.
