Attorney Romero has been an incredible help to my family. My husband and I hired Ernesto for a family court case involving my stepdaughter. Ernesto has been thorough, professional, and timely in his work. After the court hearing, he called me to ask if I had any additional questions! Working with Attorney Romero has been easy because he is so accessible- I never have to leave voice-mails with a receptionist and don't have to worry if he remembers what case I am involved with. In the game of legal chess, it is refreshing to be represented by a lawyer who has ethics and principles. This is the second time, I had the benefit of Attorney Romero's legal expertise. During my first divorce (March 2001), I had hired a pro se company to complete my divorce paperwork and when I attempted to file the paperwork at the Milwaukee County courthouse, I found out that the paperwork was incorrect. It was happenstance that I met Attorney Romero. At that time, I used his legal program to file my own pro se divorce which ran concurrently with a paternity action. He was invaluable then to assist me with the necessary paperwork to file my uncontested divorce.

Ten years later, I retained Attorney Romero to represent me in my divorce action (March 2011), including custody arrangements for my four children. When I met with Attorney Romero, I told him I wanted what was fair and nothing more. I was a stay at home mom being pressured by my abusive husband to walk away from my marriage with next to nothing. At my initial consulation with Attorney Romero, he outlined the fair share of my marital estate. Attorney Romero worked with me and I was able to assist him in my legal action including writing my own martial settlement agreement and parenting plan. He was available to me almost 24/7 including consulting with me while he was out of the country on several occassions. He responded promptly to my questions and emails. Attorney Romero explained all aspects of my case, in easy to understand, laymans terms. He was patient with me as I asked "why" more times than I can count and then followed up my questions with more answers.

I am in the military and have been going through a rough time with my divorce, until I was referred to Ernesto Romero. Let me tell you, for all the horror stories that I get about lawyers taking their time, overcharging, and not caring, this guy was none of those. I had almost missed a deadline for some legal paperwork by the time I gave Ernesto a call. Not only did he take care of submitting it for me, the SAME day, he got the ball rolling with a pretrial hearing. Long story short, after 2 months, everything is already resolved ahead of schedule, and it was all for a flat fee from start to finish. He was on the ball and kept in touch about everything happening, no extra charge. Every time I called him, he answered on the first ring. Not someone else, him! It's the little things like that which made this an extremely easy experience.

We have used Ernesto a few times in the past few years.. We couldnt be happier with the out come of our cases. Ernesto is a great attorney to have on your side he know the ins and out of the court house. He has the ability to look at a case and pull out the good and bad at first glance. Ernesto is a strait shooter and doesn't give you false hope. When your odds aren't looking good he will tell you and then does all he can to over come the odds. I believe one year we even conferred with him on Thanksgiving day. Ernesto is very persistent. He really worked with us to make sure there weren't any loop hole in our stipulation. Everything is black and white there aren't any Grey areas. We are grateful to know that he is there for us in case we ever need his services again. I've hired Ernesto on several occassions. I have hired him to handle child placement & child support issues. Most recently he handled my divorce. Ernesto is a wealth of knowledge, caring, attentive and effective. His follow through and attention to detail is flawless.
