I am the Managing Partner and Head of the Family/Deportation Practice Group at Sesini Law Group . My practice is entirely devoted to representing individuals with issues in family immigration, naturalization and citizenship, deportation defense, asylum, federal appeals and litigation, and the immigration consequences of criminal convictions. Prior to focusing exclusively in immigration law, I practiced criminal law for many years, which experience makes me uniquely qualified to represent non-citizens with criminal convictions. I work frequently with criminal defense attorneys in criminal cases throughout Wisconsin and I have successfully vacated dozens and dozens of criminal convictions for my clients.
In 2011, I was selected as a Super Lawyer in immigration. I speak frequently on immigration issues in the community, and I am invited to speak at several immigration-related seminars, including the 2014 American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the 2012 Wisconsin State Public Defenders annual seminar. I am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Wisconsin State Bar, and the 3rd, 6th, and 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, circuits in which we have successfully litigated complex immigration issues.
I am a first-generation born U.S. citizen. I received my law degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1991. I speak Italian and my office is fluent in Spanish.

I have worked with John Sesini on several immigration matters. His extensive knowledge of both immigration law and criminal law make him a valuable resource for colleagues and a powerful advocate for his clients. I strongly endorse Mr. Sesini and his law office.

There are few lawyers that I can say are both smart and compassionate at the same time. Mr. Sesini is just that. He not only has a great understanding of both immigration and criminal law, he really cares about his clients. I highly endorse him as a lawyer.
