About Me

Born in Detroit, Michigan and the son of a Teamsters Union member, I developed an affinity for labor and employment issues early on in life.  I always had an interest and aptitude for science and went on to the University of Michigan where I obtained a B.S. in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science, or, the study of the brain, if you will.  After working for the University of Michigan's Office of Undergraduate Admissions Office during the landmark cases of Bakke and Grutter, I decided that law was the natural path for me and entered the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2004 where I made a conscious effort to take most every labor and employment class offered and as much of a "liberal arts" legal education so that I may be prepared to practice in a wide variety of legal areas.

While in law school I developed a deep interest in criminal law and participated in the Prosecution Project where I interned with the Dane and Rock County District Attorney Offices and engaged in independent research where I delved into the topic of laptop searches and seizures at airports that serve as borders.  It was also in law school where I took an interest in blogging and not only began my own personal blog, but was one of the first writers for the American Constitution Society's "ACSBlog."

Upon graduating the University of Wisconsin Law School I began an internship with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's Detroit Field Office where I was responsible for assisting Trial Attorneys with all phases of litigation and also assisted the Director with the EEOC's annual MIRG reviews.  This experience led directly to my joining a plaintiff's side labor and employment law firm in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and then my work with TALX, a company based out of Atlanta, Georgia that handles unemployment insurance hearings for Fortune 500 companies and other large companies in the Milwaukee area.

I am currently an Attorney/Owner of Enochs Law Firm, a general practice law firm located at the Bayshore Town Center in Glendale, WI where I practice a wide variety of legal areas, but still emphasize in labor and employment law, landlord/tenant law, family law, estate planning, criminal law and consumer law.  I am also an avid blogger and author the blog, "Wisconsin Employment & Labor Law Blog," where I write about labor/employment law topics on a weekly basis.
