Pat has been my go-to attorney for years following my original divorce.( I wish she had represented me then too, and perhaps, I wouldn't have needed any further trips to court). I retained her originally based on a recommendation from someone else who'd used her. Boy, were they right! My experience has been that she is supportive and knowledgeable. She listens. She also allows you to vent, explain, cry, get angry, or whatever it is that you need, while providing the solid legal expertise that is necessary to 'win' your case( Family Law has no real winners- but she gets as close to a win as possible).
Pat allowed me to make my own decisions about the case but also knew when I needed to be pulled back into reality.
I would recommend her to anyone who has a family law situation. I am just saying, if my case didn't make her retire--- she is battle tested-- and can handle anything and anyone!
She knows the law and the legal system so she will use it to her best ability to get the outcome that is right for you. One of the best there is...

I hired Pat 11 years ago for my divorce. Over the years my ex has found numerous reasons to take me to court. I have felt comfortable calling on Pat to help and she has always been a supportive, understanding advocate not only for me, but for my children. In this last go around (and I do hope it's the last), Pat aggressively pursued my side of the matter and the adverse motion brought by my ex was dismissed and I received legals fees awarded to me. I'm very happy with the results and would recommended Pat as someone that will have your back.

Next to the birth of our children, among the happiest moments in our life is when we fall in love and get married. If only we could stay married and live happily ever after. Unfortunately, life is not a fairy tale - Trust me, I know. If you find yourself at the crossroads in your relationship, and you know in your gut that you need to seek representation in a divorce, you better 'lawyer up' with the best, because it's going to be a very bumpy ride. You need a strong, rock solid advocate in command - Pat Grove is that attorney. When my divorce first began, I was seeking the best attorney I could find. I asked a good friend of mine who he would recommend. His answer - My ex-wife's attorney, Patricia Grove. There are few things worse in life, than going through a divorce; It is an emotional roller coaster. Divorce will test your mettle, and you must become 'battle hardened' to endure the process - believe me. You absolutely must have an attorney that is a proven advocate. Your attorney must also be respected by the Court and other attorneys - Pat Grove is that person. Pat will steer you through the storm of divorce, and you will emerge on the other side. There is also a beautiful life after divorce. You must do everything she says, because she knows. Pat will also be there for you post-divorce. Pat has been my divorce attorney for over fifteen years. We just emerged from a second storm over child support issues. I am once again reunited with my children and looking forward to our new beginning - I have Patricia Grove to thank for this, and I am eternally grateful for her counsel. If you get married - Try to stay married. As a husband or wife, If you must get a divorce, Pat will have your back - Always.

Pat helped me through a custody case and I couldn't have imagined going through it with anyone else! She was very good at explaining everything that was going on and everything that was going to be happening. She listened to my sometimes frantic phone calls and I always felt more at ease after talking to her. The thing that I loved most about Pat was her concern for my child, I always felt like she had his best interests at hand and that she truly cared about him. Even now that my case has been settled she still asks about him, which shows me just how much she really cares about who she's representing. I have recommended Pat to numerous other people, and will continue to do so because she is an amazing lawyer!

I have nothing but the highest praise for the work done on my behalf, by Patricia Grove. My divorce was a long and painful experience. It was described as the most contentious divorce in Waukesha county during the 1990's. During the proceedings Patricia Grove kept me "in the loop" all along the way. She anticipated every move my ex wife would make. And my ex tried everything in the book. She was found in contempt of court on five occasions, fined thousands of dollars, and found by the court to suffer from" Munchausen Syndrome By Proxy". Her failure to respond to the courts order to undergo a vocational evaluation to determine her earning potential led to saving me thousands of dollars in unwarranted child support. I did end up with full custody of my minor child. Patricia Grove provided the necessary care and attention my case demanded in a timely and professional manner. A truly great attorney.

Attorney Grove has been a pleasure to work with over the past year. She has not only helped my husband with a difficult child placement and support situation, but has looked out for him, providing legal and emotional support. During a time when it was hard to stay positive, Attorney Grove always showed us the light at the end of the tunnel, and we are forever grateful we selected such a professional and compassionate attorney to represent us.

Attorney Grove's expertise, professionalism, integrity and compassion were evident from the first consultation. I especially appreciated her background as a social worker who understood the dynamics of the issue that had impacted my relationship and my family.
I thought my long term marriage would be easily dissolved since the kids were grown and there really shouldn't have been too many issues surrounding division of assets. The reality was far different.
As an emotional thinker and decision maker I struggled to look out for myself and my future. While Atty. Grove's compassion and empathy regarding the emotional devastation of divorce was what led me to hire her, it was her ability to recognize my personality style that protected me.
She was forthright and honest regarding options and scenarios which I appreciated. She walked me through the entire process, remained calm and supportive no matter what chaos ensued, was always willing to answer a myriad of questions. Her expertise was invaluable during the mediation process. I could not have chosen a better person to represent me and am very grateful for all her help during the most difficult period of my life.
