Israel Ramon is a shareholder in the Milwaukee law firm of Ramon & Medrano S.C. His primary areas of practice include Worker’s Compensation and Social Security Disability. He was admitted to practice before the Wisconsin Courts and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Wisconsin in 1994.
He received an undergraduate degree in Management and Business, magna cum laude, from Barat College in Lake Forest, Illinois in 1989 and a law degree from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1994. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Ramon was a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician and a Registered Respiratory Therapist engaged in clinic practice and education. He is listed in the Best Lawyers in America's Consumer Guide. He lectures frequently on Worker’s Compensation Law and previosuly chaired the State Bar of Wisconsin’s annual Worker’s Compensation Update seminar for three years.
He is a volunteer attorney for the Voces de la Frontera, Inc., legal clinic. Voces is a nonprofit, immigrant and worker’s rights agency on Milwaukee’s south-side. He also volunteers as a pro bono attorney for the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin.
