About me

I take the job of representing those who need help very seriously.  I pride myself in the ability to maximize the value of one's claim and to maximize one's recovery.  I have practiced law for over 20 years and have learned a thing or two along the way, including how to effectively communicate with insurance company representatives.  I enjoy trying cases to a jury, especially when a client is being treated inappropriately by an insurance company.  I have earned the respect of other lawyers because of my dedication to the craft.  I prepare myself on all issues so that all claims are fully developed.

  • James J. Connolly

I endorse Doug Swanson. He is a highly effective advocate for injured clients. He is smart, well-prepared, compassionate and friendly by nature, but does not hesitate to be tough with insurance companies when necessary to secure fair treatment for his clients. Unlike a lot of personal injury attorneys who are in it only for the money, Doug Swanson truly cares about people and will often take on cases that others won't.
