James W. McNeilly Jr.

Jim is the principal of McNeilly Law Offices, LLC, with offices in La Crosse and Kenosha Counties, where he focuses on bankruptcy, estate planning, real estate and business law. He has been a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee in the Western District of Wisconsin since 1987 and was a Court Commissioner from 1995 - 2007.

Jim was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Wisconsin while still in high school where he learned to hunt, fish and dairy farm.  Jim attended college in Platteville and La Crosse, Wisconsin and law school in Madison.  After graduation from law school, Jim practiced law in Whitewater, Wisconsin for three years before moving to La Crosse where he has practiced since 1984.  In 2006, Jim and his wife, Carole, who also works in the firm, moved to Pleasant Prairie, in southeastern Wisconsin, to be closer to Carole's family in Gurnee, Illinois.
