I've always tried to be a fair employer. However, an ex-employee filed a complaint against me demanding $43,000 in back wages. To make matters worse, if he was correct in his assumptions, I would owe about $400,000 in back wages to both former and present employees. On a strong recommendation I was advised to seek counsel.
