I was charged with my fifth and my sixth domestic both enhanced to class D felonies. 2 years after originally charged l was picked up on 2 warrants, I was incarcerated at the Polk County Jail for 11 days. I had applied in court for a public defender because I couldnt afford a private attorney. Laying in the medical holding due to high blood pressure l recieved a business card with Branstad Law on the front and a personal cell phone number on the back. I was excited to hear I would finally have a lawyer who will fight on my side, I called the number on the back of the card and spoke with Christine right from the very begining I seemed to trust her ability to help me. We didnt even make it to pretrial conference and the prosecuting attorney made me an offer I couldnt refuse both felonies were dropped to agg misdemeanors and the judge sentenced me to a suspended 4 year sentence with 2 years probation. Thanks Christine you have been a blessing in my life.
When I called Christine, her receptionist put me through to her immediately. My situation looked dire and I didn't know where to go for help. With great clarity and wisdom, she led me through my situation without ever having to enter her office. She placed at least two phone calls on her own time and money without even knowing if I'd hire her. This is the finest attorney I've ever had the pleasure of knowing! I will call on Christine for any situation I encounter in the future, and will recommend her to anyone who is in need of legal assistance. My matter was resolved with the case being dismissed by the investigating detective. I guess when I told him who my attorney was, he didn't want to pursue the matter any further.
Christine was recommended by a good friend and within 5 minutes of meeting her I was 100% sure that she was the perfect fit for my situation. There is no pretense or overpromising of her abilities. She paints the most realistic picture possible while diligently exploring every legal scenario. Her knowledge of the legal system and her ability to read the situation and people in general make her a very capable person in and out of the courtroom. I literally put my life in her hands and trusted her entirely. Her professionalism is a credit to the trade and I never heard a negative word from her concerning other attorneys or the prosecution. She has a strong respect for the law but is strong in her belief that each person has a right to a fair trial devoid of bias or public opinion. I knew that if she was telling me a direction she felt I needed to take than that was the best course of action. Even after the case was over I would be fortunate to be able to say that I know her and respect her. From my own personal perspective the outcome of my situation would not have been the same with another attorney and I will be forever grateful to her for the diligence and attention she put into my case.
Christine did a fantastic job on my criminal case. The result was better, cheaper and faster that I had expected. Thanks
I was very impressed with C. Branstad's work. She was well informd and a great negotiator.
I had two issues for Christine Branstad to address. The first was a matrimonial issue, the second was a criminal matter. Both were resolved positively on my behalf. I was very impressed with how quickly both situations were handled and how hard she worked for me. I will always refer Christine Branstad to my closest family and friends.
